Ombré Hair! Now that I have a new hobby 🙂 I’m excited to try all kinds of different shades of temporary hair color. I wanted to do something with purple and pink! Here are the steps to rock an ombré colored twistout…

Products used:
– Splat Washables Hot 4 Pink
– Splat Hair Chalk Violet Sky
– Splat Hair Chalk Dusty Rose
– Maybelline Color Tattoo 24Hr Cream Eyeshadow Painted Purple
– Maybelline Color Tattoo 24Hr Cream Eyeshadows Inked In Pink

I did a two strand twistout style on my hair the night before using LA Looks Mega Hold Gel.

In the morning, I let the twists down and began painting the hair with hot pink (Splat Washables Hot 4 Pink). I kept this color mainly near the bottom half of my hair.

Next I used a lilac color hair chalk (Splat Hair Chalk Violet Sky) on the top and front parts of my hair. I filled in random spots with a rosy shimmer color (Splat Hair Chalk Dusty Rose). These hair chalks fade very easily so frequent touch ups may be necessary.

Lastly, I added small pops of bold purple (Maybelline Color Tattoo 24Hr Cream Eyeshadows Painted Purple) and some hidden highlights of light pink (Maybelline Color Tattoo 24Hr Cream Eyeshadows Inked in Pink)

The results:

The color is not as bright and bold in an unedited non-filtered photo. In normal light, it is almost pastel color. But it can create a really cool effect. Check out the selfies!

Fun for temp color. I wore it for the day and washed it right out. Next time I’d love to try another color combination!
